A short design exercise to propose an interiors concept for the platform and arrival level of Olympic Metro Station in Line 6 of Hangzhou, China. The interior design of this station was developed based on the theme of Olympic Sports, Olympic Rings and Olympic Torch.

An adaptive component was developed to cover both levels of the station and provide an integrated concept of lighting, air conditioning and art. A gentle touch of local lighting with the colours of Olympic flag, on a generally warm white background, created a special atmosphere for this station.

Torch lighting on the walls and abstract totems of different Olympic sports were other features of this interior design proposal.
